You replace the watch strap because it no longer fits your routine. This stainless steel band sits as a milanese mesh or as a link bracelet, made for the Fenix X series and Forerunner models listed here. It fastens with quick-release spring bars so you change it without extra parts. The weave catches light. The links move with a firm, mechanical click.
The band gives a different weight and balance to your watch. It is not a soft strap. Expect a feeling more allied to metal bracelets: deliberate, steady. If you prefer adjusting links, the link version lets you remove pins for sizing. If you want a continuous loop, the milanese slides to tune the fit.
