Why a Fitbit band is not measured in millimetres, which tracker takes which strap, and what the engraved patterns are cut into.
Why can you not buy a GEAK Fitbit band by millimetres?
Because a Fitbit does not have a lug. The tracker has its own pins and its own slot shape, and a strap is moulded for one family: a Charge strap fits a Charge, a Versa strap fits a Versa and a Sense, and neither goes on the other.
Which GEAK bands fit your Charge 5 or Charge 6?
The same ones. Fitbit kept the strap fitting identical between the two, so every Charge 5 band on this shelf goes on a Charge 6 as well. The older pair, Charge 3 and Charge 4, share a fitting of their own that neither of the newer straps will click into.
What are the engraved GEAK Fitbit bands on your tracker cut from?
Silicone, with the pattern cut into the face rather than printed on it. That is why the flowers still show after a year: there is no layer to rub off, only a change in the surface that catches the light.
Does a GEAK band cover the sensor on your tracker?
No. Every strap here leaves the underside of the tracker open, because that is where the optical sensor reads from. If a reading looks wrong after a change, the thing to look at is how tightly the tracker sits, not the strap.
