This page is the standard the rest of the site is written to.
Where the figures come from
Lug width, case sizes, the watches a band is cut for, how many straps are in a pack, what a case covers: all of it comes from our own product data, and it is what goes into the specification table. If a field is not in the data, the table does not carry the row. An empty row invented to look complete is worse than a short table.
What we will not claim
We do not say a band is hypoallergenic, medical-grade, waterproof or tested to a standard. Some of those words are printed on the packaging these things arrive in. None of them are ours to repeat. We do not publish test results we did not run, awards we were not given or certificates we do not hold, and we do not put a number on how many people wear one.
Where a page touches skin rather than fit, it says who says what: the federal agency that publishes on nickel in jewellery, the occupational institute that publishes on skin exposure at work. Those bodies are named on the page, and the reading is set out on the updates page rather than paraphrased into a promise here.
The guides
The guides are written from the objects: what a spring bar does when it is a millimetre out, what a mesh clasp does to a shirt cuff, what happens to silicone after a summer of gym sweat. They were last revised on September 10, 2026.
Corrections
A wrong figure is a fault, not an opinion. Write to straps@geak-us.com with the page and the figure, and it is corrected on the next update.
Every width, every colour
Every width and colour in the GEAK selection sits behind this button, with the price from our last update against each one.
