What GEAK makes, and who it is for
Everything here is a replacement part for a watch somebody already owns. The card gives you the width, the case sizes and the watches a band is cut for before it gives you anything else, because those are the facts a photograph cannot settle.
GEAK makes the part of a watch that wears out first. Not the watch, not the charger, not the app: the strap that sits against skin for sixteen hours a day, takes the sweat, catches on a coat sleeve, and looks tired a year before the watch does.
What is in the range
Four watch families, and the range is cut to fit the way each of them measures. Apple has no lug width and two runs of case size, so an Apple band is cut for the small run or the large one. Samsung settled on a 20mm lug and has kept it from Galaxy Watch 4 to Galaxy Watch 9, so one strap covers most of a decade of watches. Garmin runs four widths - 18, 20, 22 and 26mm - and the width decides everything. Fitbit uses its own pins, so a strap there is bought by tracker name.
Inside each family the choice is material. Silicone for the days a watch goes to the gym; braided elastic for people who would rather not deal with a buckle; nylon for summer; stainless steel mesh for a shirt cuff; leather for the watch that stays out of the water; resin and engraved silicone for the two lines that exist because a strap is also something you look at forty times a day.
And the cases, which are the other half of owning a watch with a glass face. Soft TPU bumpers with a raised lip over the screen, cut per case size, sold in threes because a case is a consumable: it takes the scratch the watch would otherwise take, and then it looks like it.
Who it is for
Somebody two or three years into a watch they still like. The screen is fine, the battery is fine, and the strap that came in the box is stretched, stained or simply dull. That person does not want a project - they want to know whether the strap on the screen will go on the watch in their hand, and how much it costs.
What that person needs is a number and a name. A Garmin or a Galaxy Watch takes a lug width, an Apple Watch takes a case size, a Fitbit takes a pin cut for a named tracker. Read the model off the back of the watch, match it, and the strap goes on at the first attempt. The limits come with it: a mesh carries nickel, a multipack arrives as a set of colours nobody can pick apart, and a width that suits one watch in a family will not suit the one beside it.
Metal, nickel and the wrist under a watch
Metal is the only part of a strap that raises a health question at all. Stainless steel gives off traces of nickel, a watch sits on the everyday list of objects that carry it, and the wrist under one is a common place for a rash to turn up. Leather, silicone, nylon and resin do not raise the question.
None of that is our finding. It comes from the institute that publishes on skin exposure and contact dermatitis, the national library’s chapter on nickel allergy, and the academy that lists a watch among the everyday things carrying nickel. All three are linked in full on how we update the catalogue. A mark that does not settle once the strap is off is a question for a clinician rather than for another colour.
GEAK has been making straps since 2019. Everything else worth knowing about a piece is a measurement: the lug width, the case sizes it clears, the material, and what comes in the box.

About the brand
What people ask about GEAK
What does GEAK make?
Replacement bands and protective cases for four families of watch: Apple Watch, Samsung Galaxy Watch, Fitbit and Garmin. The bands come in silicone, braided elastic, nylon, stainless steel mesh, leather, resin and engraved silicone; the cases are soft TPU bumpers that carry a screen guard with them.
How long has GEAK been around?
Since 2019, which is 7 years of making the same kind of thing: a strap cut to a stated width for a stated watch, sold at a price that makes changing one an ordinary decision rather than an event.
Does GEAK make watches?
No. Every watch named on this site is made by somebody else, and the names are here for one reason only: to say which watch a strap goes on. Apple, Samsung, Fitbit and Garmin have no connection with this catalogue.
Where is GEAK sold?
Through our retail partner, which is where every buying button on this site leads. Payment, delivery, warranty and returns all happen there rather than here.
Every width, every colour
Every width and colour in the GEAK line-up sits behind this button, with the price from our last update against each one.
