Nothing to fasten. The braided elastic goes over the hand and settles where it lands, which is the whole argument for it on a watch you put on in the dark or with one hand full. Quick-release bars hold it to the lugs, and the weave breathes in a way a solid strap does not.
Size it by wrist rather than by watch, and give it a fortnight: elastic relaxes slightly in the first weeks and then stays where it has settled. If you like a strap you can take in by a notch on a hot afternoon, this is the wrong one, and the buckled silicone is the right one.
